We are currently recruiting for a MRP Planner to join the team in our Sheffield site. In the role you will be responsible for converting customer demand into a manufacturing and delivery plan, you will liaise closely with the Operations Team and customers. In the role you will employ best practice in generating the production plan to obtain the most efficient factory performance possible whilst achieving customer demand OTIF. The role will report directly to the Head of Planning and Logistics.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Scheduling and Demand – Receive and analyse Customer schedules (or Forecasts) and generate the development production plan. Communicate MPS plan to relevant teams and report on adherence to plan and impact to Customer.
• Capacity Planning - Working closely with other Planners & Operations Team to understand Bramah’s existing hours plan, load and capacity on key pieces of equipment and manning requirements when composing the Production Plan.
• Customer Liaison – Respond to Customer requirements within any specified deadlines. Organise regular face-to-face meetings with Customers to ensure a strong relationship is maintained.
• Inventory Management - Responsible for employing optimal inventory practices. Generate WIP levels to satisfy development programme and Customer buffer expectations whilst managing obsolete, scrap, non-conforming and aged/dwelling WIP.
• Delivery – Organise a shipping manifest to ensure delivery of goods on time to the correct location. Communicate despatch requirements clearly to the relevant members of the Operations Team and Stores.
• Sales – Generate accurate sales forecasts by part number, by week. Maintain accurate visibility of order book on ERP system, EFACS, and provide sales forecast budget information on programmes. Communicate sales performance and arrears for Bramah’s weekly KPI publication.

• MRP Production Planning in an Aerospace (or similar) Manufacturing environment - essential
• Experience using ERP software to generate manufacturing and sales plans - essential
• High levels of numeracy and computer literacy – MS Excel essential – essential
• Experience using Efacs ERP software (version 8.6) – desirable
