Import/Export Officer

We are currently recruiting for an Import and Export Officer to join the multi-talented team at Radius Aerospace. Acting as the central control point across Radius UK for Customer Master Data, pricing changes and queries. Reporting to the Finance Controller, the role will be responsible for maintaining and supporting with import/export compliance for both sites including ITAR Aerospace compliance working closely with the Commercial, Logistics and Planning teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensuring import and export rules adhered to and system data is compliant and extractable for reporting purposes.

• Being a site champion for Aerospace-related ITAR controls.

• Manage and monitor Inward Processing Relief products to ensure compliance with IPR rules.

• Deputizing as a point of contact for regulatory bodies (including HMRC).

• Find and drive efficiency and time saving projects, however small to reduce own and team workload.

• Know and understand company and department policies and safety procedures.

• Report to work on time, follow instructions from supervisor or management, interact well co-

workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned, requested or needed.

Experience:

• Experience with import and export procedures and customs clearance, including MSS - Essential

• Experience with Inward Process Relief and associated reporting requirements - Desirable

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of import and ITAR controls - Desirable

• Strong organisation and IT skills and must be a confident, effective communicator - Essential

• Must thrive under pressure and act in a timely manner to hit deadlines - Essential

• Must be open to change and have the desire to close out short-term tasks and longer term Personal Development Review (PDR) objectives - Essential

• Must have an appetite for ownership of issues and accountability for results - Essential
